15 years, 4 months and 5 days—-that’s how long Miss Lucy has been with us. But now, she has gone on. She can walk and run again, bark again, and have a good old pain-free time.

Lucy as a puppy
She has always been a really good dog–except for when she was a young thing. Her nickname was Lucifer—mostly the chewing thing. As she matured, she had a gentle nature and was a real people person.
When we moved our shop to the new space 7 1/2 years ago, we just knew she could now have room to come to work. She took to it like a duck to water. Being a lab, she should have been taking ducks on the water. But, Lucy was way to prissy. After all, she might have messed up her nails!
She will no doubt have many friends and fans who will miss her like we will. But, as one of my friends said to me today: Grab a glass of wine and celebrate her life.
