Well, here it is near Christmas. I did try to do fall and Thanksgiving because I had family coming, but in all honesty, I had to move the spring and Easter stuff to do it. Where in the world does the time go? And, with Thanksgiving being so late, we can REALLY get behind!
I have been busy the past several weeks working with clients on decorating their homes for Christmas. The one pictured today is in Suffolk and belongs to one of our customers. Truth be told, she didn’t need my help as she has amazing taste and beautiful things. However, her home was on a Christmas Tour which was a fundraiser. She wanted someone else’s eye to help her along. Wow—it was great fun because she had so much stuff to work with.

This is the mantel in the downstairs den.
Also in the den.
This precious little cabinet was on the wall to the right as you enter the front door. She put her vintage jewelry trees in it—a perfect spot.
A view of the foyer from the second floor.

Even the foyer bench was decked out!
She decorated her 14′ tree. It was stunning—it looked like it could have been in the White House. It was packed with ornaments.
A close up of the garland that went around the windows behind the tree.
A neutral tablescape.
Even the powder room got the full treatment!
The master bedroom

The master bath wasn’t left out!
One of a pair of silver trees on either side of the sideboard. The entire room was silver and very lovely. The garden club was on their way to put in the fresh flowers, so there aren’t any of the table ????
Here is my favorite thing, the silver tree. And, of course, they are the worst photos! Maybe a New Year’s resolution would be to take a photography course!
Note the teapot on the top!
I loved working with Ann. She has such an exuberance for her Christmas decorating and enjoys every minute of it. Maybe she’ll come finish my house!
